  In the mood for a meat-fest but don't want to break the bank like you would at other Brazilian steakhouses? Then Ipanema may be the place for you! First up, the salad bar which was as good as or better than any other Brazilian place I've visited. As for the meats, you get 9 to choose from but unlike other similar places, the meat does not come to you. You go to it. As for the quality of the meat, it seemed right in line with my expectations and it was very tasty. My only bit of dissatisfaction was that several pieces that I had were overcooked. But that was very likely due to the fact that we went during a slow time. When you go to a Brazilian steak place, you always want to go when they're somewhat busy so that the meats are juicier and not overcooked. I will definitely be going back but I'll choose a Friday or Saturday night when I know they're busy.
